Executive Code and Criminal Code |

The Executive Code of the African Union shall be responsible for administering the operations and procedures of the Executive Branch consistent with the constitution, whereas the Criminal Code shall be responsible for the conditions and rules of criminal law. |

The Criminal Code depends in part upon the Executive Code in the fair operation and respect of the Executive Branch of the independence of the Legislative Branch and Judicial Branch and the fair hearing of charges and cases of accused persons. |
|
| |
Similarly, the Executive Code in part depends upon the just operation of the Criminal Code in cases of certain breaches of the Executive Code deemed as criminal acts. |
