| 15.1 | The objectives of police standards | |
| In the context of social objectives, the objective of police standards are: | ||
| 1. To ensure the fair execution of police action in all matters of civil and criminal law ; | ||
| 2. To reduce the total cost of administering police; | ||
| 3. To reduce the incidence of crime; | ||
| 4. To reduce the likelihood of internal corruption. | ||
