	9. Correctional system objects
	Article 47-General Secretary
47.1	General Secretary
	The General Secretary of Corrections shall be vested with the sole authority of the good management of the correctional system of African Union and the operation of the Corrections Agency of African Union.
	The General Secretary of Justice Systems shall be a direct appointment by employment contract by the Supreme Directorof Justice Systems upon approval of the Executive Government for a fixed term of five years.
	The General Secretary shall be ineligible for re-appointment to any role within the Corrections system after two (2) terms.
