10. Correctional system facility objects |

| 56.1 | Captain | |
| The Captain shall be vested with the sole authority of the active operations command of correctional staff on guard duty to ensure the proper security and protection of the facility, all staff, visitors and prisoners. | ||
| The Captain- shall be a direct appointment by employment contract of the Commander of the Correctional Facility upon approval of the Board of the correctional facility for for a period corresponding to and not longer than the term of the Commander. | ||
